NOTICE OF ADOPTION OF A LOCAL LAW
SUBJECT TO PERMISSIVE REFERENDUM
Notice is hereby given that the Town Board of the Town of Milton, County of Saratoga, State of New York, at a regular meeting thereof held on the 24th day of November 2021, did adopt a local law pursuant to New York State Cannabis Law Section 131 opting out of on-site cannabis consumption establishments within the Town of Northumberland. This Local Law is subject to a permissive referendum pursuant to Section 24 of the Municipal Home Rule Law. A complete copy of the approval resolution and local law summarized herewith is available for public inspection during regular business hours at the Office of the Town Clerk. A petition, to be valid, must be submitted within forty-five (45) days of the date of adoption of the resolution.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Town of Milton is accepting Bids until December 13, 2021, at 2pm for a Property Maintenance company to fulfil the Request for Proposal. The sealed bids will be opened at 2pm at the temporary location of Town Hall, 310 North Line Road, Ballston Spa, NY 12020. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Annual Election of the Milton Fire District #1 will take place on December 14, 2021, between the hours of 6pm and 9pom at the Rock City Falls Fire House located at 1119 Rock City Road, Rock City Falls, NY for the purpose of electing one Fire Commissioner, for a five (5) year term, commencing January 1, 2022 and ending December 31, 2026 and one Fire Commissioner for a three (3) yaar term commencing January 1, 2022 and ending December 31, 2024. All voters registered with the Saratoga County Board of Elections on or before November 22, 2021 shall be eligible to vote. A candidate must be a resident of the Milton Fire District #1,
Candidates for District Office shall have filed their names with the Secretary of the Milton Fire District #1, at the fire house at 1118 Rock City Road, Rock Citr Falls, NY no later than twenty days before the election, November 24, 2021 is the last day to file.

Starting November 8th, 2021 Suzanne Lyall Park will be closed for the winter and will reopen next Spring. This is due to the pad being fragile in cold weather. The restrooms at both Burgess Kimball and Suzanne Lyall Park will be closed as well needing to be winterized.
