Town Parks

Burgess-Kimball Memorial Park
Location: On Rowland Street near the intersection of Rowland Street and Geyser Road.
Amenities: This park offers baseball & softball fields, tennis & basketball courts, sand volleyball court, pavilions, restrooms, and a playground area.  ** RESTROOMS WILL BE CLOSED STARTING 11/1/2023**
Regulations:  No dogs except service dogs. No alcohol.  ALL PAVILIONS MUST BE RENTED THROUGH THE TOWN CLERK at (518)885-9220 Ext.110

Suzanne Lyall Playground  
Location: Woodthrush Court
Amenities: This park offers a small pavilion, restrooms and an all inclusive playground. All children can play here safely.  **RESTROOMS WILL BE CLOSED STARTING 11/1/2023**
Regulations: No dogs except service dogs. No alcohol. This pavilion is not available for rentals. This park is closed during colder months while the ground is frozen for the safety of residents and equipment.

Marlene & Wilbur Trieble Passive Recreation Park
Location: On Route 67 at the corner of Middleline Road and Route 67.
Amenities: This park offers a small pavilion and easy unpaved walking trails meandering next to a creek.
Regulations:  No alcohol.  
                                                     
Woods Hollow Nature Preserve
Location: Parking on both Rowland Street and Northline Road.  Park is located on corner of Northline and Rowland.
Amenities: This park offers maintained, but rugged hiking & walking trails, sleigh riding hill (weather permitting), and a fishing pond.  The park is dog friendly, but DOGS MUST BE LEASHED and you must clean up after your dog.
Regulations:  No alcohol. No unauthorized motorized vehicles or ATVs.

Boice Family Park
Location: On Creekside Drive off of Rock City Road. (Residential neighborhood, but there are public parking lots for park users).
Amenities: This family park is solely walking/hiking trails.  The terrain is maintained, but is rugged and we are trying to limit the disruption to the natural environment.
Regulations:  No alcohol. No unauthorized motorized vehicles or ATVs.

Cottrell-Herrington Park (formerly Rock City Falls Park)
Location: On Route 29 in the Hamlet of Rock City Falls.
Amenities: This is a primarily a fishing spot.  The short trail is paved for handicap access to the Kayderosserass Creek with a covered pavilion.
Regulations: No unauthorized motorized vehicles or ATVs.
