Town aims to promote local business

With the release of the new interactive website, the Town has included a state-of-the-art business directory listing service FREE* to local businesses.

If your business is located in the Town of Milton, Ballston Spa area, you may submit your business profile to the website publisher for inclusion in the online business directory. This system is designed to help promote your products and services to our local visitors, or to individuals looking at the region. Each profile includes:

Ed Loya’s Auto Parts & Salvage will pick up scrap metal on Wednesdays of each week. This includes, but is not limited to: washers, dryers, and other appliances, as well as junk cars. All of this is at no charge to you. If you have scrap metal or junk cars to be picked up, call Tom or Lorraine at 885-5977 to make arrangements.

Community Human Services offers Free transportation to medical appointments for residents of Milton, Ballston and the Village of Ballston Spa. For details call 399-4624 or visit them on the web at www.chsny.org.

The Saratoga County Office of Emergency Services has set up a phone number you can call to verify that your 911 information is correct.

Call 884-4769 Monday through Friday 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and speak to Sue Barnes. She is able to verify the 911 information and, if a discrepancy is found, will immediately see that corrections are made.
